Tropicraft Mod 1.7.10,1.6.4 adds a variety of tropical items and a tropical realm to your Minecraft world
Contents:
Bamboo
Bamboo is a resource block similar to Sugar Cane. It is the sole material for crafting Bamboo Planks (Bamboo Blocks), Bamboo Slabs, and Bamboo Mugs, and serve as an material for crafting Bamboo Stairs. Bamboo can grow up twelve blocks high. Bamboo can be fashioned into sticks and used as the handles and base of tools. It can also be crafted by itself to create Bamboo Mugs and Spears.
Bamboo is a versatile building material. Not only can the player use it, but the Koa tribe use it in their builds as well.
Palm tree
Palm trees are tropical trees and one of the most distinguished features in TropiCraft.
They have striped wood and much brighter leaves than that of normal trees. When destroyed they will drop palm wood and palm saplings. Leaving a grown palm tree alone for a while will cause it to grow coconuts, which drop coconut chunks when broken with a sword. These are used to make pina coladas.
These trees MUST be planted in sand in order for them to grow. Once fully grown, however, the sand may be removed and replaced with any material the player chooses.
Coconut chunks
Coconut Chunks are a food item harvested from breaking a Coconut with a sword. Each coconut yields 1-5 coconut chunks. They are an essential ingredient in crafting Pina Coladas. When consumed alone, they recover one half hunger.
Pina colada
The Piña colada is an item that is used to go to the tropical dimension. if you drink it at sunset while sitting in a beach chair it will take you to the tropical dimension. it is crafted using one mug one pineapple and one coconut chunk in any pattern it does NOT need to be in any specific square. you use a crafting table not a drink mixer
Crafting
Pineapple
Pineapples are a renewable resource, and essential in the crafting of Pina Coladas. Farming Pineapples is possible by breaking only the top of it, leaving the other half to grow. Pineapples can be replanted by right clicking on ground.
You can craft Pineapple Cubes that restore 1 hunger by placing a Pineapple in a crafting area. They spawn in forests/grasslands
Coconut
Coconuts are placeable blocks that generate in the tops of Palm Trees. When harvesting with or other tool it will drop a full coconut. When harvested with a sword , they yield edible Coconut Chunks. Coconuts can be used to make Coconut Bombs. Coconut Chunks are also a part for making a Pina Colada
Easter Island head (mob)
Easter Island Heads are unique mobs that resemble Moai, or stone statues carved by the polynesian colonizers of Easter Island. When spawned, they are “asleep,” but when you go near them, their eyes will grow red. Swords and axes are useless; pickaxes are the only thing that can hurt them. Wooden pickaxes have no effect. Once attacked or touched by you, they will begin chasing you. The attacks are more like of a zombie. Small groups of them are a bit of a challenge if you want to attack them. They spawn on peaceful. They drop Chunk O’ Head when killed. Even if on peaceful mode an easter island head will attack the player if holding a Chunk O’ Head block. These mobs move considerably slower in water. Do not confuse these with the generated structure version. If you can go through one and push it, the Easter Island head is a mob. The block version if filled with lava and a type of ore block for eyes.
Chunk O’ Head
The Chunk O’ Head is a stone like block that is dropped by Easter Island head (mob) easter island heads will drop two to four of these blocks when killed. Easter island heads (generated structure) are composed of these blocks. Volcanoes are also composed of Chunk’O’Head, so for those wishing to create larger or more detailed works using Chunk’O’Head, they are often the better option. Chunk’O’Head can also be used to make Curare bowl and a Mixer. Curaes can be used to make to make a dart gun thus making it a very useful item.
Monkey
The monkeys are a mob in Tropicraft originally based on the AI of cows. The monkeys walk around and will act in a neutral way. When the player has a Pina Colada in their hand the monkey will follow the player. The player can give a Pina Colada to the monkey by right clicking the monkey while you are holding the Pina Colada and the monkey will drink it, but beware! If the player shows a Pina Colada and doesn’t give it to the monkey for a while, the monkey will knock the Pina Colada out of your hands with one vicious hit and drink it. Then it will leave you alone. The monkeys can also climb trees and wood blocks, though it will not climb fences.
